Role & responsibilities
- Procurement of engineering spares, maintenance materials, electrical/mechanical items, tools and other engineering requirements.
- Procurement and timely availability of production consumables.
- Coordination with external vendors/agencies for analytical testing and related services.
- Preparation and processing of purchase orders and regular follow-up for timely delivery.
- Coordination with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Stores, QA/QC and Finance departments.
Preferred candidate profile
- 3-5 years in Engineering Purchase/Procurement
- Diploma/B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical & Electrical
- Candidates from the Chemical or Pharmaceutical industries
