- About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Backend Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise engineering program for a global automotive client. You will build and operate cloud-native microservices and data-driven web applications deployed on AWS, working in a distributed Agile team alongside client-side architects and product owners. Key Responsibilities - Backend development — Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and services using C#/.NET 8, ASP.NET Core, EFCore for PostgreSQL - Data layer —Ability to model and optimize relational schemas on PostgreSQL; manage migrations , Redis/Valkey cache + RedLock - Cloud engineering — Deploy and operate workloads on AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, ECR, Secrets Manager, IAM); provision infrastructure using Terraform.

Containerization orchestration — Build Docker images and manage Kubernetes deployments via Helm charts along with Kustomize; work with service mesh (Istio) for traffic and policy management.
- Messaging Authentication/Authorization — RabbitMQ via MassTransit, In-proc MediaR. For Auth, usage of OIDC/OAuth2, Kong gateway, YARP reverse proxy. - CI/CD — Build and maintain automated pipelines in GitHub Actions covering build, test, security scanning - Frontend collaboration — Contribute to or coordinate with React frontend teams; understand API contracts and OpenAPI specifications.
- Quality observability — Write unit/integration tests, instrument services for APM (Instana / Datadog / CloudWatch), and support production troubleshooting.




- Agile delivery — Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical design discussions; contribute to architecture decisions and documentation. Must-Have Skills Programming - C#/.NET 8— strong proficiency along with REST, Web API, JSON, SOAP, XML - Async programming, dependency injection, and clean architecture patterns Cloud DevOps - AWS — hands-on with EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch - Kubernetes — deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets; Helm packaging - Docker — multi-stage builds, image optimization, security hardening Data APIs - PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing, query tuning - REST API design — Open API/Swagger, versioning, pagination, error contracts - OAuth2 / OIDC / JWT — token validation, SSO integration - Authentication- OIDC/OAuth2, Kong gateway, YARP reverse proxy. Engineering Practices - Git-based workflows, branching strategies, pull request reviews - Test automation Unit Test Cases — NUnit, xUnit.net,mocking frameworks, Playwright - Static analysis and formatters (Black, SonarQube, Checkstyle) Good-to-Have Skills - Angular 17+ / TypeScript, RxJS, component libraries (PrimeNG, Angular Material) Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent - AWS certification (Solutions Architect / Developer Associate) — preferred - Robust written and verbal English communication; comfortable working with distributed European stakeholders
