Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Mobile Application QA Engineers with strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing and a broad understanding of software quality assurance. Candidates should have practical experience in manual and automation testing, API testing, backend validation, database testing, and performance testing.

Candidates must have hands-on mobile application testing experience. Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, Mabl, Postman, SQL, and JMeter is highly desirable, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on manual and automation testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.

Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, compatibility, and end-to-end testing.

Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Playwright.

Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

Execute mobile application automation using Appium or other relevant mobile testing frameworks.

Perform backend validation and database testing using SQL queries.

Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.

Develop and maintain automated test suites using Mabl or similar low-code automation platforms.

Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira or other defect-tracking tools.

Validate application functionality, data integrity, API responses, and backend workflows.

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business teams to resolve issues.

Prepare test reports, communicate testing progress, and ensure quality standards are met.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing is mandatory.

Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications on real devices and/or emulators.





Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.

Hands-on experience preparing test scenarios, writing test cases, executing tests, and reporting defects.

Practical experience with mobile functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to independently execute testing activities and communicate findings effectively.

Technical Skills – Preferred / Project-Specific

Candidates should have hands-on experience in relevant tools and technologies based on project requirements:

Mobile Testing: Android, iOS, Appium, real-device testing.

Automation Testing: Selenium, Playwright, test automation frameworks.

API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, REST APIs, request/response validation.

Low-Code Automation: Mabl.

Database Testing: SQL queries, backend data validation, data integrity checks.

Performance Testing: JMeter, load and stress testing.

Defect and Test Management: Jira and related test management tools.

Development and Scripting: Java, JavaScript, or other relevant scripting languages.

Backend Testing: Service integration, business logic validation, database and API workflow testing.

Agile Practices: Sprint testing, defect triage, test planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Candidate Expectations

Candidates must demonstrate practical, hands-on mobile application testing experience.

Tool knowledge must be supported by actual project experience rather than theoretical understanding alone.

Candidates should be able to explain their testing approach, test scenarios, automation scripts, API validations, SQL queries, and defects handled in previous projects.

Experience across multiple QA tools is an advantage, but candidates must be evaluated against the specific technical requirements of the assigned project.

Candidates should be comfortable with technical assessments and practical testing exercises during the selection process.
