Role Description The Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Moradabad. The Merchandiser will coordinate product development from concept to final sample, working closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure collections meet market trends and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing product specifications, managing sampling and approvals, maintaining accurate product and pricing records, and tracking order status to meet delivery timelines.

The role also involves regular communication with domestic and international buyers,



presenting new ranges, gathering feedback, and supporting negotiations related to cost, quality, and lead times. The Merchandiser will monitor competitor offerings, support visual presentation standards, and collaborate with marketing and retail teams to optimize product assortments and overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external buyers.
- Customer Service abilities to understand client needs, respond promptly to queries, and maintain long-term skilled relationships.
- Sales and Retail skills to support buyer presentations, product assortments, and commercial decision-making.
- Marketing awareness to align product selections with brand positioning, market trends, and promotional activities.
- Experience in merchandising, product development, or export-oriented home décor, handicrafts, or related industries.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Comfort with basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data tracking related to products, pricing, and orders.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work on-site in Moradabad and coordinate with production units.
