Company Description The Student Technical Events and Mentorship Cell (STEM) at NIMS University is an academic student body dedicated to promoting technology, innovation, and hands-on learning within the university. STEM connects learners with workshops, hackathons, competitions, and innovation challenges organized by academic institutions and industry partners. The cell offers structured guidance and mentorship to help students engage with external technical platforms and opportunities.

It also organizes internal sessions and collaborative initiatives that support skill development aligned with academic and industry standards. STEM serves as an official hub for verified information, updates, registrations, schedules, and announcements related to student technical activities.

Role Description The Media Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for managing media-related communication and outreach for STEM activities. This role involves planning and executing media campaigns that promote workshops, hackathons, competitions, and internal events, in coordination with faculty and student teams.

The Media

Coordinator will create and manage content for official communication channels, oversee event announcements, and ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information.



Daily tasks include coordinating with event organizers, maintaining a calendar of activities, conducting basic research on relevant technical and educational initiatives, and monitoring engagement across media platforms. The role also includes supporting brand consistency, tracking campaign effectiveness, and providing feedback to improve student outreach and participation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Media Planning and Media Strategy to design and implement effective outreach campaigns.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to prepare clear announcements, updates, and event-related messaging.
- Candidates should possess Research and Marketing skills to identify relevant opportunities and promote STEM activities effectively.
- Proficiency in digital media tools and social platforms for content distribution and engagement tracking.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple events and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in sharing verified information in line with university guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate with students, faculty, and external partners in a professional manner.
