HIRING: SOLIDWORKS DESIGN ENGINEER – SHREDDER & RECYCLING MACHINERY

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer proficient in SolidWorks to join our team specialising in industrial shredders and recycling machinery.

Job Responsibilities

- Design and develop industrial shredders, recycling machines, and related mechanical components using SolidWorks.
- Prepare and release detailed manufacturing drawings for the tool room and production team.
- Prepare assembly drawings, part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Generate and optimise nesting layouts for laser-cut sheet metal components.
- Coordinate material procurement and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop recent suppliers and coordinate with existing vendors for materials and fabricated components.
- Coordinate with the tool room, production, and fabrication teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Ensure drawings meet manufacturing requirements, dimensional tolerances, and quality standards.




- Improve existing designs for manufacturability, cost reduction, and material optimisation.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks and mechanical design.
- Experience in industrial machinery, shredders, recycling equipment, fabrication, or sheet metal design preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing drawings, GD&T;, BOMs, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with laser cutting and nesting software.
- Good coordination, communication, and supplier follow-up skills.

Job Details

- Salary: ₹25,000–₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
- Location: Andheri East, Mumbai.
- Connectivity: 10–12 minutes’ walk from Andheri railway station.
