Job Summary The Project Manager - Civil is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering civil and precast construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. The role owns the project from kick-off to handover and acts as the key link between the client, design team, site teams, vendors, and management.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Scheduling

- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain the master schedule (Primavera / MS Project) and track progress against it.
- Plan resources: manpower, materials, machinery, and subcontractors.

Cost and Budget Management

- Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor expenses, control cost overruns, and forecast cash flow.
- Review and approve bills, running account (RA) bills, and variation orders.
- Handle billing, claims, and client invoicing.

Execution and Site Management

- Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
- Resolve technical issues and review design changes with the design team.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance

- Ensure work meets quality standards and applicable IS codes.
- Enforce HSE (health, safety, and environment) practices on site.
- Ensure statutory approvals, permits, and legal compliance.

Procurement and Vendor Management

- Coordinate with the procurement team on material requirements and timely delivery.
- Evaluate and finalize contractors and vendors, negotiate rates, and manage contracts.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities.




- Hold regular review meetings and share progress reports with management.

Risk Management and Reporting

- Identify risks (delays, cost, safety, weather, supply) and put mitigation plans in place.
- Prepare MIS, progress, and closure reports, and ensure timely handover.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the project team.
- Set targets and drive accountability.

Qualifications

- Essential: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Preferred: M.Tech in Construction Management or Structural Engineering; PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Experience

- 10 to 15 years of overall experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a project management or project head role.
- Hands-on experience managing projects from planning to handover.
- Exposure to precast, prefabricated, or modular construction is a strong advantage.

Skills and CompetenciesTechnical Skills

- Robust knowledge of civil construction methods, IS codes, and contract management.
- Proficiency in Primavera / MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Experience in estimation, quantity surveying, and billing.

Working Conditions

- Regular site presence and travel as required by the project.
- Willingness to work extended hours when project deadlines demand it.

Compensation As per company norms and the candidate's experience.

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
