2. Job Purpose To manage the company's accounting, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking operations, budgeting, and internal controls, ensuring accurate financial records, timely statutory payments, and effective financial management in accordance with applicable laws and company policies. 3. Key Responsibilities

A. Accounting & Financial Management

- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and customer outstanding balances.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements and conduct regular ledger scrutiny.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and expense records.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

B. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance

- Handle GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and applicable reconciliations.
- Ensure timely TDS deductions, payments, returns, and issuance of TDS certificates.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers and ensure proper input tax credit (ITC) claims.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Maintain records and supporting documents for tax assessments and audits.

C. Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

- Monitor raw material, packaging material, finished goods, and inventory accounting.
- Reconcile stock records with physical inventory and production consumption reports.
- Calculate product costs, production costs, overheads, and cost variances.




- Analyse material consumption, wastage, yield, and production expenses.
- Prepare cost sheets, profitability reports, and product-wise margin analysis.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, Stores, Sales, and HR departments.

D. Banking & Financial Operations

- Manage banking transactions, fund transfers, cheque payments, and bank documentation.
- Prepare payment proposals and ensure payments are processed after appropriate approvals.
- Monitor vendor payment schedules, customer collections, and overdue balances.
- Coordinate with banks for working capital facilities, loans, bank guarantees, and other financial requirements, wherever applicable.

E. MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Develop budget-versus-actual reports and analyse financial variances.
- Prepare expense analysis, profitability reports, and cash flow statements.
- Track receivables, payables, inventory valuation, and working capital.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support management decisions.

F. Audit & Internal Controls

- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and GST audits.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls and approval procedures.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable legal requirements.

4. Required Skills & Competencies





- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting/ERP software.
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG accounting preferred.
- Solid analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and vendor management skills.
- High degree of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy and timely closure of monthly accounts.
- Timely filing of GST, TDS, and other applicable returns.
- Timely bank, vendor, customer, and inventory reconciliations.
- Reduction in outstanding receivables and overdue vendor balances.
- Accuracy of cost sheets, inventory valuation, and MIS reports.
- Timely completion of audits and closure of audit observations.
- Effective cash flow and working capital management.

6. Experience & Qualification by Level Experience- 7–10 years

Qualification- M.Com / MBA Finance; CA Inter preferred

Primary focus- Financial reporting, budgeting, costing, compliance, team management

Software- ERP, Tally Prime, advanced Excel, MIS tools

7. Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or food-processing organization will be preferred. The candidate should have practical exposure to inventory accounting, manufacturing cost analysis, GST reconciliation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and audit coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
