Job Title: Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer

Reporting To: Maintenance /Production Manager

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth and reliable operation of all plant machinery, equipment, and utilities by carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventive maintenance activities.
- Follow the approved PM schedule and maintenance checklist.
- Monitor machine condition and identify potential failures in advance.
- Maintain complete PM records.
- Breakdown Maintenance
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and restore equipment operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-related issues.
- Identify root causes of repeated breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain breakdown history and downtime records.
- Machine Maintenance
- Maintain stitching machines such as JUKI and Dürkopp Adler.
- Maintain CNC cutting machines, End Cutter, Air Compressor, and other plant equipment.
- Check and maintain motors, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, pneumatic components, etc.
- Carry out lubrication, alignment, adjustment, and replacement of defective components.
- Utility Maintenance
- Maintain air compressors and pneumatic lines.
- Check and rectify compressed-air leakage.




- Maintain electrical panels, lighting, fans, sockets, and other basic plant utilities.
- Spare Parts Management
- Identify and maintain critical spare parts.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Maintain spare parts consumption and replacement records.
- Safety
- Follow all maintenance safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Ensure safe working conditions during machine repair and maintenance.
- Support periodic inspection of fire and safety equipment.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain PM, breakdown, and maintenance records.
- Prepare MTTR and MTBF reports.
- Monitor machine availability and maintenance performance.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports to management.

Qualification & Experience Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/automotive industry preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
