A hospital in Vijayawada is seeking an experienced Maintenance Head with at least 5 years of relevant experience to oversee facility maintenance and engineering operations. The selected candidate will ensure the reliable functioning of hospital infrastructure, medical utility systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, and essential facility services while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance and engineering operations, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.

- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, power backup systems, fire safety, and other hospital utilities.

- Familiarity with preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and facility safety procedures.

- Solid leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and service providers.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily maintenance and engineering operations across the hospital.





- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

- Ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, lifts, generators, and other essential utilities.

- Coordinate maintenance of medical equipment with authorized technical teams and service providers.

- Supervise maintenance staff, assign duties, and monitor work quality.

- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, facility issues, and utility disruptions.

- Monitor maintenance budgets, spare parts, tools, and inventory requirements.

- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, equipment servicing, and maintenance activities.

- Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety, electrical safety, and hospital facility standards.

- Coordinate with hospital administration and external vendors to minimize operational disruptions.

- Support emergency preparedness and ensure continuity of essential hospital services.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
