Purpose/Objective

The Civil Engineer / Infrastructure Planner will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and development of logistics, agri, and infrastructure parks under the Ports & Logistics Planning and Proposal business unit.

This role is integral to the preparation and execution of master plans, zoning, and infrastructure layouts that align with Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited’s (APSEZ) vision of operational excellence and sustainable growth.

The position will ensure the seamless integration of cargo flow, transportation networks, and utility systems to support the business unit’s current and future priorities.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Develop and prepare comprehensive master plans for logistics, agri, and infrastructure parks, ensuring alignment with APSEZ’s strategic goals.
- Conduct detailed planning and zoning for logistics parks, Container Freight Stations (CFS), and infrastructure within Special Economic Zones (SEZ).
- Design and plan infrastructure layouts, including roads, ports, cityscaping, and urban layouts, to optimize cargo flow and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare feasibility and detailed project reports for multipurpose infrastructure projects.
- Utilize GIS and modeling tools to analyze spatial data and develop zoning plans and infrastructure layouts.




- Ensure adaptability of plans to evolving business requirements and stakeholder needs for each business location.
- Assist in preparing detailed drawings and layouts for planning projects and proposals, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Conduct research on demographics, land use, transportation, and environmental factors to inform planning decisions.
- Collaborate with government officials, developers, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Deliver process-driven, cost-effective, quality-oriented, and time-bound outputs that meet client and interdisciplinary requirements.

Technical Competencies

Master Planning and Concept Development Expertise,Technical Liaising and Stakeholder Management,Proficiency in Tools and Analytical Skills,Familiarity with local by-laws, building plans, and statutory conditions relevant to port and logistics projects.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure planning, logistics park development, or SEZ projects.
- Proven expertise in cargo flow analysis, zoning principles, and utility infrastructure planning.
- Proficiency in planning tools, CAD software, and GIS platforms.
