- Machine Setup: Mount raw materials into the lathe chuck and pick the right cutting tools.
- Operation: Turn, face, thread, or bore materials to shape the part.
- Quality Check: Measure finished pieces with micrometers and gauges to match blueprints.
- Maintenance: Clean out metal or plastic chips, add oil, and replace worn-out tools.
- Safety: Wear safety glasses, keep the work area tidy, and follow shop rules
Skills & Requirements
- Basic Skills: Read simple blueprints or job orders, use a tape measure, and do basic math.
- Physical Ability: Stand for long shifts, lift heavy parts, and use valuable hand-eye coordination.
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
