Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct product testing in accordance with IS 1293 and other relevant Indian standards.

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used for electrical, mechanical, and thermal testing of plugs, sockets, and related electrical accessories.

- Interpret test results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal use and BIS submissions.

- Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure products meet all BIS compliance requirements.

- Assist in the preparation and submission of documentation for BIS registration and renewals.

- Participate in internal and external audits related to product certification and quality systems.

- Ensure all testing procedures follow safety protocols and laboratory best practices.

- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment in accordance with NABL/BIS requirements.

- Stay updated with the latest amendments and changes in IS 1293 and other related standards.
