Role Description The Junior Italian Chef will support the culinary team by preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes, including pastas, risottos, antipasti, and desserts, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role in Gurugram involves assisting with menu execution, mise en place, and daily kitchen operations, as well as maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in all work areas.

proper storage of ingredients, and coordination with senior chefs to ensure timely and consistent service. The role also includes learning new techniques, contributing ideas for Italian specials, and collaborating with the broader team to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

Qualifications

- Foundational culinary skills, with specific training or hands-on experience in Italian cuisine (e.g., pasta making, sauces, baking, and basic butchery).
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately, work efficiently during service, and maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen or culinary internship is preferred; formal culinary education or certification is an advantage.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Gurugram, including weekends, holidays, and peak service hours as required.
