Role Description The Junior Architect will support architectural design and project documentation for in office projects located in Guwahati under a contract engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in concept development, preparing architectural drawings and 3D models, and supporting design detailing for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. The role involves coordinating with senior architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent is maintained during planning and execution, and helping prepare presentations, reports, and technical specifications.

The Junior

Architect will participate in site visits, measurements, and inspections,



and contribute to design revisions based on client feedback, regulatory requirements, and construction constraints. This on-site position requires regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess core Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including conceptualization, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Candidates should possess Project Management-related skills, such as coordination with stakeholders, basic scheduling, and documentation support.
- Candidates should possess Software Development and Integration awareness sufficient to work with design and BIM tools, and integrate drawings with multidisciplinary project workflows.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), along with strong drafting and visualization capabilities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction practices, as well as attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Guwahati and coordinate with design and construction teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification, along with internship or entry-level experience in architectural design or construction projects, is preferred.
