We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the banking domain and a solid understanding of financial services applications, business workflows, and technology requirements.

This role involves building reliable backend services, developing RESTful APIs, integrating enterprise systems, and contributing to high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable applications that meet business and technical requirements.

Requirements Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain scalable, modular, and resilient microservices
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate services with internal and external systems
- Translate business and functional requirements into efficient technical solutions
- Apply banking domain knowledge to develop and enhance financial services applications
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on application design and technical implementation
- Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code following established coding standards
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance
- Troubleshoot application issues,



perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions
- Optimise application performance, scalability, and resource utilisation
- Work with databases to develop efficient data access and processing solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Support application integration, deployment, production releases, and ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, product, and business teams to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
