Yuma is an Amazonian, Latin American and Peruvian-inspired riverfront restaurant and nightlife destination coming to Siolim, Goa.

We’re looking for a technically proficient IT & Systems Executive to manage the technology and digital systems that support our restaurant, bar and day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will ensure our POS systems, billing software, computers, printers, networks and operational technology run smoothly, with minimal disruption to service.

THE ROLE

- Set up, configure and maintain restaurant POS systems, billing terminals and associated hardware.
- Troubleshoot POS software, billing errors, receipt printers, barcode scanners and payment terminal issues.
- Maintain computers, laptops, printers, routers, Wi-Fi networks and other IT equipment.
- Coordinate with POS software providers and external IT vendors for installations, updates and technical support.
- Ensure restaurant billing, order processing and payment systems function reliably during service.
- Assist with integrating POS systems with inventory management, accounting software and other operational tools.
- Maintain user accounts, system permissions and access controls for authorised staff.
- Conduct regular system checks, software updates and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain backups, protect business data and follow basic cybersecurity practices.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues affecting POS terminals, music systems, office systems and other connected equipment.
- Support management with digital reports, system configurations and basic data management.
- Maintain records of IT assets, software licences, warranties, service requests and maintenance schedules.
- Train restaurant, bar and administrative staff on the correct use of POS and other operational systems.




- Respond promptly to technical issues that could disrupt restaurant or nightlife operations.
- Coordinate with external specialists when advanced technical support is required.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in IT support, systems administration, POS support or a similar technical role.
- Experience working with restaurant POS and billing systems is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with computers, printers, networking, routers, Wi-Fi and payment terminals.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and resolve common hardware and software problems.
- Understanding of basic data backup, user access management and cybersecurity practices.
- Comfortable coordinating with software vendors and external technical service providers.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to respond quickly to operational issues in a fast-paced hospitality workplace.
- Goa-based candidates or candidates willing to relocate to Siolim preferred.
