- Provide on-site support for hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices, ensuring timely repairs and replacements.
- Monitor and manage network security, ensuring data protection through firewalls, encryption, regular backups, and compliance with cybersecurity protocols to safeguard manufacturing data and intellectual property.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand their technical needs, ensuring that IT systems are optimized for manufacturing
- Plan and execute hardware and software upgrades to enhance system performance, including system maintenance and regular updates.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring the procurement of cost-effective solutions, and handle budgeting for IT-related expenses, including hardware, software, and ongoing support services.
