Job Summary The System Administrator will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure across all Dmart outlets. This role focuses on ensuring 99.9% uptime for store operations, managing technical deployments for new store openings, Revamp of stores and providing remote support for the L1 team.

Key Responsibilities

- New Store Openings: Coordinate and execute the full IT setup for new retail outlets, including network cabling, server installation, and hardware deployment (POS, printers, scanners, Weighing Scale, HHT).

- Remote & On-site Support: Provide Tier 1 & 2 technical support for store staff via remote desktop tools or in office visits to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

- Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary technical contact for external vendors (ISPs, hardware suppliers, software providers) to manage Asset delivery and ISP Link delivery, and infrastructure upgrades.

- Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN/WAN), routers, switches,



and firewalls to ensure secure and seamless store-to-head-office connectivity.

- CMDB Inventory & Asset Tagging : Maintain an accurate CMDB inventory of IT assets (laptops, POS terminals, peripherals) and asset tagging on all systems.

Technical Expertise Required

- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows Server (2019/2022) and Client OS Windows 2011 pro, as well as basic Linux knowledge.

- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless network setup.

- Support Tools: Experience using remote support software (e.g., Manage Engine) and IT ticketing systems like Service Desk.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical store staff.

Based on third party payroll, freshers to 6 months of exp required.
