The IST/Switch Application Support Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management, stability, and continuous improvement of IST/Switch payment switching platform. The role will span day-to-day production support, business-as-usual operations, and delivery of enhancement and change projects, ensuring uninterrupted processing of transactions in line with agreed SLAs and PCI DSS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support (L2/L3)

- Monitor real-time transaction flows, ensuring high availability of the IST/Switch setting.

- Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents relating to transaction failures, authorization declines, timeouts, reconciliation breaks and interface issues.

- Perform root-cause analysis and drive problem management to prevent recurrence.

- Provide 24x7 on-call / shift-based support and participate in major-incident bridge calls.

BAU Operations

- Execute daily health checks, batch monitoring, end-of-day settlement and reconciliation processes.

- Manage HSM key operations, certificate renewals and card-scheme mandate updates.

- Maintain and tune ISO 8583 message configurations, routing tables, BIN/institution setups and stand-in parameters.

- Handle service requests, user access, and configuration changes through the change-management process.





- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks and knowledge-base articles.

Projects & Enhancements

- Support new card product launches, scheme mandates, interface integrations and switch upgrades/migrations.

- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT) and production cut-over.

- Coordinate deployment activities, release management and post-implementation support.

- Contribute to disaster-recovery testing and business-continuity exercises.

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience with IST/Switch (FIS) payment switching platform in a production banking environment.

- Knowledge on IST/Switch Active/Active setup with Dual site implementation

- Strong knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging, EFT transaction lifecycle, authorization, clearing and settlement.

- Understanding of card-scheme interfaces and certifications (Visa, Mastercard, and regional switches such as mada / UAESWITCH / GCCNet).

- Experience with HSM, key management, EMV, PCI DSS and payment security standards.

- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, SQL and log analysis.

Pay: ₹380,000.00 - ₹440,000.00 per month
