Reports To: Quality Manager / Sr. Quality Engineer

Location: ENEPL Manesar

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

- Sound knowledge of in-process quality techniques and inspection tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM basics).

- Understanding of control plans, FMEA, and PPAP documentation.

- Hands-on experience in problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis).

- Familiar with ISO/IATF 16949 quality system requirements.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial / Production Engineering.

Experience Required:

- 2–5 years of experience in In-Process Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a manufacturing or automotive setup.

Additional Information:

- Shift-based working setting.

- Exposure to supplier quality and customer complaint handling preferred.

- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA) will be an advantage.

S. No. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Nature of Task (R-Regular / P-Periodic / O-Occasional)



1 Conduct in-process inspections as per control plans, work instructions, and quality standards.

R 2 Monitor process parameters and verify product dimensions, appearance, and functional attributes. R 3 Identify non-conformities, segregate defective parts, and initiate corrective actions. R 4 Ensure process audits and patrol inspections are carried out on shop floors.

R 5 Support line operators and production team in maintaining process quality and first-time-right production. R 6 Verify incoming materials and sub-assemblies for compliance before processing. P 7 Maintain inspection records, control charts, and quality reports for traceability.

R 8 Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions). R 9 Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities like audits, calibration, and documentation.

P 10 Coordinate with QA, Production, and Maintenance teams to minimize process rejections and rework. R 11 Provide feedback for process improvement and quality training to operators. O 12 Ensure adherence to 5S, safety, and housekeeping in work area.
