Role Description The International Business & Market Development Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting global trade and market expansion initiatives. The intern will assist in researching international markets, identifying potential customers and partners, and mapping opportunities across key product verticals and regions. Daily tasks include compiling market intelligence, tracking trade regulations and trends, preparing presentations and reports, and supporting the development of go-to-market strategies.





The intern will help with lead generation, outreach coordination, and maintaining CRM or pipeline trackers, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on export-import documentation and business development activities. This role offers exposure to global supply chains, sustainable trade solutions, and international business operations.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize market data, trade trends, and competitor insights into clear recommendations.
- Interest or coursework in International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Agribusiness, or related fields; familiarity with global trade concepts is an advantage.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including preparing business reports, presentations, and qualified correspondence.
- Comfort with digital tools such as spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or data management platforms; basic proficiency in online research tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset and openness to working with diverse stakeholders across cultures and time zones.
- Additional languages beyond English, and any exposure to agro-food, sustainability, or ESG-related topics, are considered beneficial.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program; prior internship or project experience in business or market development is a plus.
