Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Architect to plan, design, and coordinate interior spaces for residential and commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, preparing detailed working drawings, coordinating with consultants and site teams, and ensuring that interior works are executed according to approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Interior Design & Space Planning

- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and space-planning solutions.
- Prepare furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and interior elevations.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, colours, lighting, furniture, and fixtures.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, and design presentations.
- Ensure functional, aesthetically pleasing, and practical interior spaces.

2. Working Drawings & Technical Detailing

- Prepare detailed interior working drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Develop furniture, false ceiling, flooring, wall panelling, partition, and joinery details.
- Prepare electrical, lighting, and other interior coordination layouts.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and finish schedules.
- Incorporate design revisions and ensure drawings are issued on time for execution.

3. Consultant & Site Coordination

- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors,



and vendors.
- Coordinate with site engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies and execution-related issues.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and monitor progress.
- Ensure interior execution matches approved drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical clarifications and resolve site-related design issues.

4. Material & Vendor Management

- Assist in material selection, sampling, and approval processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for quotations, specifications, and material availability.
- Review material samples and shop drawings before execution.
- Support cost-effective material selection without compromising quality.

5. Project Execution & Quality Control

- Monitor interior work progress against project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Identify design or execution discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain records of drawings, revisions, material approvals, and site observations.
- Coordinate snagging, finishing inspections, and handover activities.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of interior working drawings, detailing, and materials.
- Knowledge of furniture design, lighting, flooring, false ceilings, and finishes.
- Understanding of MEP coordination and site execution.
- Positive communication, coordination, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹61,000.00 per month
