Role summary:

Engineer to connect AI model endpoints to applications through secure, manageable API gateways and identity controls.

Responsibilities:

- Integrate OpenAI-compatible model APIs / NVIDIA NIM endpoints with gateway and application components.
- Configure API authentication/authorization, key management, rate limits, quotas, and request routing.
- Integrate gateway services with identity systems and operational backing stores.
- Support developer onboarding, endpoint documentation, and troubleshooting of application access.

Qualifications:

- Hands-on API gateway or backend integration engineering, ideally involving AI/LLM endpoints.
- Working knowledge of REST/OpenAI-compatible API patterns, OIDC-based authentication, and API-key policies.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis in service/application integrations.

Highly relevant technologies (any meaningful subset)

Gateway / identity: LiteLLM, Kong AI Gateway, Envoy AI Gateway, Keycloak.

Additional: OIDC, PostgreSQL, Redis, API keys and quotas, developer onboarding.
