Ingenium Developer

We are seeking a talented Ingenium Developer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in building and enhancing insurance software products. If you possess solid Ingenium expertise, solid database skills in SQL or Mongo, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain software solutions on the Ingenium platform to support new and existing insurance products.
2. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to gather requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality features on time.
3. Develop efficient data models, write optimized SQL queries or MongoDB scripts, and ensure data integrity across systems.
4. Implement unit tests, perform code reviews, and follow best practices to ensure code quality, security, and performance.
5. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues throughout the development lifecycle.
6. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including refactoring, automation, and adoption of modern engineering practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,



or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing applications on the Ingenium insurance platform.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL or Mongo, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
4. Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts, policy administration, and product configuration workflows.
5. Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C#.
6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Nice to Have:

1. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
2. Experience integrating Ingenium with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
3. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
4. Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design principles.
5. Insurance certifications (e.g., LOMA, AINS) or previous experience with life/annuity products.
