What you'll be doing

- Illustrating ideas: Turn a brief, script, or grandiose idea from our writers into a visual story that says more than words alone.
- Making science visible: Mechanisms, ingredients, the body at work, clear, accurate and still beautiful.
- Building a visual language: Characters, icons, textures, and color systems that make KLR.FIT look like KLR.FIT in every format.
- Upholding the brand's philosophy: With every visual, ask first: why should I care?
- Knowing what goes where: Where the eye lands, what's noise, what a creative director would flag before they have to.
- Working across formats: Social, ad visuals, product page and Amazon graphics, infographics, packaging support.

What makes you the right person

- 1 to 3 years of experience at a studio, agency, brand, or as a freelancer
- Strong fundamentals: Line work, shape, color, composition, hierarchy
- Range with a clear hand: Flat vector, textured, character-led, semi-realistic
- A feel for brand philosophy, visually and contextually




- Strong visual instincts: Elevate someone's raw idea without losing what made it good
- Independence: You don't need hand-holding to know what "good" looks like

Illustration specifics

- Styles: flat vector, textured/grain, character, editorial spot illustration
- Subjects: infographics, straightforward scientific diagrams, ingredient and product art, icon sets, characters
- Vector vs raster know-how, with files set up for both
- Layered, organized source files, consistent palette, clean handoff
- Quick, revision-friendly rework
- Sizing for Instagram, Meta ads, Amazon A+ and website banners

Tools Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate or Fresco, and a drawing tablet. Others are fine (Affinity, Clip Studio, Figma). We care about the output, not the toolkit. The standard We're chasing the creativity that makes AG1 feel authoritative, Chobani warm, and Seed almost clinical-cool. A BLEND OF CREDIBILITY AND CRAFT IS TO BE EXPECTED.

Nice to have D2C, wellness, or nutrition experience; basic animation (After Effects); working with writers and a creative director; Figma; AI image tools (Midjourney, Firefly).
