Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee plant production coordination, workplace safety, security operations, and overall plant discipline. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations, adherence to safety standards, effective security management, and coordination with various departments to maintain a safe and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Plant Production Coordination

- Monitor daily production activities and coordinate with production and maintenance teams.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, operational procedures, and plant discipline.
- Coordinate with department heads to resolve operational issues and minimize downtime.
- Monitor manpower deployment and ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Maintain production-related records and prepare regular operational reports.

1. Plant Safety & EHS

- Implement and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and environmental requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential workplace hazards.
- Ensure the use of appropriate PPE by employees, workers, and contractors.
- Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness drills.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and safety signage.

1. Plant Security Management

- Supervise security guards, gate operations, and visitor management.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper gate passes and movement records for materials and company assets.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance and investigate security-related incidents.
- Coordinate with dispatch and stores teams to prevent unauthorized material movement.
- Maintain security registers, incident reports,



and shift-wise security records.

1. Housekeeping & Plant Discipline

- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness across production areas, warehouses, and common facilities.
- Monitor workplace discipline and compliance with plant rules.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff and contractors to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensure that walkways, emergency routes, and work areas remain clear and organized.

1. Compliance & Reporting

- Maintain safety, security, inspection, and incident-related documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to safety and plant operations.
- Ensure timely closure of safety observations and corrective actions.
- Submit regular reports to management on production coordination, safety performance, security issues, and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a relevant discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in plant operations, production coordination, safety, security, or plant administration within a manufacturing environment.
- Robust knowledge of industrial safety practices, emergency management, and security procedures.
- Experience managing security personnel, housekeeping teams, and shop-floor activities.
- Good leadership, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in plastics, polymers, chemicals, film, packaging, or other process manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in solar component manufacturing will have an added advantage.
- Candidates based in Raipur or nearby areas of Chhattisgarh are preferred.
- Must be comfortable working full-time at the manufacturing plant.
