A hospital in Vijayawada is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will supervise housekeeping operations, maintain cleanliness and hygiene across hospital premises, and ensure compliance with hospital sanitation and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.

- Previous experience supervising housekeeping staff.

- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and infection-control protocols.

- Understanding of biomedical waste segregation and safe waste-handling procedures.

- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor work quality.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily housekeeping activities across hospital wards, patient rooms, corridors, waiting areas, and other designated spaces.

- Allocate duties, prepare staff schedules, and monitor housekeeping team performance.





- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are consistently maintained.

- Monitor the proper use of cleaning materials, disinfectants, and housekeeping equipment.

- Ensure compliance with hospital infection-control protocols and biomedical waste segregation procedures.

- Conduct routine inspections and address housekeeping-related issues promptly.

- Maintain cleaning schedules, inspection checklists, and housekeeping records.

- Monitor housekeeping supplies and coordinate replenishment when required.

- Train staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and workplace safety.

- Coordinate with hospital administration and infection-control teams to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
