DesignTech Drafting Studio, an MEP engineering and BIM drafting company with operations in India, Qatar, and the UAE, is looking for a qualified and experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kerala.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in MEP quantity surveying, estimation, and quantity take-off for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare MEP quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Perform cost estimation and material quantity calculations based on project drawings.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare tender estimates and quotations.
- Identify quantity variations and prepare variation statements.
- Coordinate with BIM modelers, engineers, and project teams.
- Prepare measurement sheets, BOQs, estimation reports, and cost summaries using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare professional technical reports, documentation, and correspondence using Microsoft Word.

Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline.




- Minimum 1 year of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying or Estimation.
- Valuable knowledge of MEP systems and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including formulas, calculations, data management, and BOQ preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word is mandatory, including document formatting, report preparation, and technical documentation.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or Revit will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Experience in GCC construction projects will be an added advantage.
