Role Description The Health Safety Environment Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Bhuj Khavda Gujarat, responsible for ensuring safe work practices across rooftop solar erection, installation, and commissioning projects. The role includes developing and implementing HSE procedures, conducting regular site inspections, and monitoring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. The supervisor will investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Daily activities involve delivering safety briefings and toolbox talks, coordinating risk assessments,



and supporting occupational health initiatives for project teams and contractors. The role also requires maintaining HSE documentation, collaborating with project managers and engineers, and driving continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with practical experience in industrial or construction environments.
- Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills, including knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, and pollution prevention practices.
- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation and Inspection skills, including root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective action planning.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Safety, Setting, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of local safety regulations and standards, preferably in the solar or electrical installation sector, and the ability to develop clear HSE procedures and reports.
- Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors, work in a multicultural team, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders on-site in Bhuj.
