Hiring: Head – Factory Operations & Repair & Refurbishment

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced senior operations leader to head end-to-end Factory Operations and Repair & Refurbishment (R&R;). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory/plant operations, electronics or equipment repair, refurbishment, service centre management, reverse logistics, and business operations, with exposure to P&L; ownership.

The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving repair turnaround time, optimizing costs and inventory, enhancing asset recovery, and achieving business growth and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end factory, production, repair and refurbishment operations.
- Manage the complete R&R; lifecycle, including product receipt, diagnosis, repair, testing, refurbishment, grading and dispatch.
- Drive productivity, capacity utilization, quality, first-pass yield, turnaround time (TAT) and on-time delivery.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis and CAPA to reduce defects, rework and operational costs.
- Manage business budgets, forecasts, operational MIS, profitability and P&L-related; activities.
- Optimize spare parts, material consumption, inventory turnover, ageing stock and asset recovery.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse and Repair Operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, GST processes, audits, safety standards and internal controls.
- Drive process standardization, automation,



digitization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience in Factory Operations, Repair & Refurbishment, Manufacturing, Product/Equipment Repair or Service Centre Operations.
- Proven leadership experience in managing a factory, plant, repair facility, refurbishment business or large-scale service operations.
- Robust experience in electronics, telecom equipment, consumer electronics, IT hardware or other relevant equipment repair/refurbishment operations will be preferred.
- Demonstrated exposure to business P&L;, budgeting, cost optimization, profitability and operational performance management.
- Experience in reverse logistics, spare parts management, inventory optimization and asset recovery.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, RCA, CAPA and operational KPIs.
- Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams and drive business transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Production Engineering or a related discipline. MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain will be an advantage.
- Candidates based in Noida/Delhi NCR will be preferred.

Important Note This is a senior leadership position requiring substantial hands-on experience in Factory/Plant Operations along with Repair & Refurbishment or Equipment Repair Operations .

Candidates with experience limited to warehouse management, logistics, general administration, or routine service coordination without factory/R&R; leadership experience may not be suitable for this role.
