Karbon Sixth (K6) is a fund-backed climate venture developing high-integrity carbon projects that translate measurable environmental improvements into commercially viable outcomes. With a regenerative agriculture carbon project in South India already in advanced implementation stages, we are building the capabilities to scale our project portfolio.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished carbon-market leader to lead and scale K6’s Carbon Projects vertical. Working closely with company leadership, you will shape our project portfolio, drive strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities, and establish K6 as a significant player in agricultural and nature-based carbon markets. This is an prospect to build a business, influence its long-term direction and help shape the next phase of agricultural carbon development in India.

Who We’re Looking For

- 10+ years of relevant experience, with substantial expertise in carbon markets, preferably agricultural carbon, AFOLU or nature-based solutions.
- A proven track record in carbon project development, ideally spanning project design, registration, verification, issuance and commercialisation.
- Strong understanding of carbon methodologies, project economics,



MRV and carbon credit markets.
- Established relationships across the carbon ecosystem, including project developers, registries, verifiers, buyers, investors or implementation partners.
- Demonstrated leadership in building teams, developing partnerships and scaling projects or business verticals.
- An entrepreneurial outlook, combining strategic judgement, commercial acumen and execution capability.

Qualifications

Relevant academic qualifications in agriculture, forestry, environmental science, climate science or related disciplines are desirable. Demonstrated industry achievement will carry significant weight.
