A Real Estate company is hiring for the profile of GM/DGM – Electrical (Design & Execution).

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 12-15 years

About the role The GM/DGM – MEP (Electrical) will be responsible for managing electrical MEP design and execution activities across projects. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure quality, timely execution, cost control, and smooth commissioning of electrical systems.

Core responsibilities

 Defining/developing scope of work for all MEP activities

 Co-ordinate with consultants and PMC for finalization of designs and specifications for all MEP services

 Review drawings, design reports and calculations making suggestions/modifications as they relate to the MEP trades

 Manage and lead MEP subcontractors throughout duration of the project (from mobilization through Commissioning till handover

 Monitor the installation and start-up of MEP systems and commissioning of project

 Project Progress review , reporting , monitoring and control

 Plan, manage, lead, control, MEP work team

 Ensure management of the MEP design process in accordance with company policy,



procedures and the Design Management Plan

 Manage the MEP design including all inputs, coordination and deliverables to achieve the time, cost, and quality objectives

 Ensure that the design intent and design performance criteria are maintained through the design development and construction process

 Report immediately any event which will significantly change previous forecasts and/or senior management expectations of the next forecasts

 Lead problem solving and resolution of design issues. Identify issues causing risk or delay to the project

Qualifications needed

 Bachelor/ Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

 12 - 15 years of relevant experience in MEP design.

 Experience in commercial, residential, high rise projects preferred.

Skill set required

 Design Coordination and execution Monitoring.

 Drawing review and Documentation Control.

 Communication and Interpersonal Skills.

 Problem solving and Analytical Skills.

 AutoCAD/Revit or any other relevant design software will be preferred.
