NEECON India Private Limited is a Guwahati-based engineering and construction company delivering piping, structural and mechanical work on refinery and oil & gas projects for clients including NRL, with sites across Assam, Gujarat and Bihar.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our project execution. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will own delivery across our sites: schedule, cost, quality, safety and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of all projects from mobilisation to handover, on time and within budget
- Manage project managers, site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors across multiple sites
- Act as the senior point of contact for clients and consultants (PSU refineries, EIL and others)
- Drive planning, progress monitoring and recovery of delayed work
- Oversee RA billing, variations, extra-work claims and collections
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, quality procedures and client specifications
- Control project costs, manpower and material planning
- Support tenders and pre-qualification with technical and execution input
- Build and develop a strong project team
What We Are Looking For
- 20+ years in refinery, petrochemical, pipeline or oil & gas construction
- Proven experience leading projects on the execution side
- Strong knowledge of piping, structural and mechanical construction
- Experience working with PSU clients and consultants such as EIL
- Good command of billing, contracts and cost control
- Solid leadership, client-handling and decision-making skills
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Civil) or equivalent
Preferred
- Experience with PMC, PSU refineries or major contractors
- Professionals from Assam and the Northeast are especially welcome
