Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Team Building: Head the design team across Bangalore. Hire, mentor and review designers and design managers, set clear roles, and keep the team motivated and stable through high-pressure delivery cycles.
- Design Direction & Standards: Own the design quality of every Ciao Green project. Set design standards, review layouts and concepts before they go to clients, and build a library of approved materials, finishes, specifications and details for the team to use.
- Pre-Sales & Business Development: Partner with the Sales/BD team on current opportunities. Lead test fits, concept designs and pitch presentations, attend key client meetings, and help convert proposals into signed projects.
- Design-to-Build Coordination: Make sure designs are buildable and within budget. Work with the Projects, Procurement and Estimation teams on BOQs, cost-saving options and value engineering, and ensure a complete, on-time handover of drawings to site.
- Technical & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all designs meet fire and life safety norms, building codes, landlord/building fit-out guidelines and accessibility standards. Review GFC drawings,



MEP coordination and services layouts for accuracy.
- Multi-Project Oversight: Track design timelines across all live projects, plan team capacity, flag risks early, and step in on critical or delayed projects.
- Client Engagement: Act as the senior design point of contact for key clients. Present concepts and proposals to client leadership, manage design approvals and change requests, and keep clients satisfied through project handover.
- Process & Reporting: Build and improve the design workflow - briefs, timelines, review checkpoints, revisions and drawing control. Report design pipeline status, team productivity and project issues to management.

Requirements:

- Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Experience:

-8 - 10 years in commercial interior design and fit-out, with at least 5 years heading a design team. -Proven track record of designing and delivering corporate office and experience centre projects in a design & build setup.

-Experience handling multiple large projects at once.
