About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Customer Care Specialist to join our growing international e-commerce business.

As a fully remote freelancer, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, following up on sales opportunities, and ensuring an excellent customer experience across our European markets.

You will work closely with our sales and operations teams in Belgium, using digital tools, CRM systems, and AI-powered solutions to streamline customer communication and improve efficiency.

What success looks like: You respond quickly and professionally to customer enquiries, convert opportunities into orders, maintain accurate customer records, and build robust, long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

- Manage incoming customer enquiries via email, CRM, and other digital communication channels.
- Respond professionally to questions about products, pricing, availability, delivery times, and orders.
- Prepare quotations and assist customers throughout the purchasing process.
- Proactively follow up on quotations, unanswered enquiries, and potential sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in our CRM.
- Coordinate with internal sales, production, and logistics teams to resolve customer requests.
- Handle customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve response quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer interactions and contribute ideas to improve customer care processes.
- Support international B2B customers across multiple European markets.

QualificationsRequired





- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in customer support, customer service, inside sales, or e-commerce.
- Ability to manage multiple customer requests independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, email platforms, and digital tools.
- Proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.

Preferred

- Experience in B2B customer service or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT.
- Experience preparing quotations and managing sales follow-ups.
- Knowledge of European markets and business practices.
- Additional language skills, particularly French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Odoo.
