Pluto is building electric vehicles and operational infrastructure purpose-built for last-mile delivery. We’re rethinking how delivery fleets are deployed, managed and scaled to make last-mile logistics more efficient, reliable and economically viable.

The Role

We’re looking for an operator who has worked at the intersection of the Founder’s Office and large-scale execution, someone who has worked closely with founders or leadership teams, navigated high-stakes environments, and subsequently built or scaled operations at fast-moving companies.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who can move seamlessly between strategic problem-solving and ground-level execution. You will work directly with the founders on critical business priorities, translate ambiguous problems into structured plans, and drive execution across Pluto’s operations as we scale.

What You'll Do

1. Drive High-Priority Initiatives

- Work directly with the founders on business-critical projects spanning operations, growth, unit economics and expansion.
- Take ambiguous problems from initial diagnosis to execution, with clear ownership of outcomes.
- Build structured action plans, identify bottlenecks and ensure timely execution across teams.

2. Scale Ground Operations

- Drive the expansion and performance of Pluto’s delivery network across vehicles, riders, hubs and delivery partners.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop scalable solutions that improve productivity, utilisation and reliability.




- Work closely with on-ground teams to understand operational realities and ensure plans translate into execution.

3. Build Systems from First Principles

- Design and implement operating processes, SOPs, dashboards and review mechanisms as the business scales.
- Establish metrics to measure performance, identify deviations and drive corrective action.
- Build repeatable systems without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

4. Own Business Performance

- Analyse operational data, fleet economics and unit-level performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work across functions to resolve issues affecting service levels, cost efficiency and scalability.
- Turn data and ground-level insights into explicit recommendations and measurable business outcomes.

5. Operate at the Centre of the Business

- Coordinate with founders, customers, franchise partners, vendors and internal teams to drive critical priorities.
- Navigate competing priorities, tight timelines and incomplete information without losing sight of the end goal.
- Step into execution wherever necessary, regardless of whether a problem falls neatly within a defined function.

Who We're Looking For





- 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally combining a Founder’s Office, Chief of Staff or CEO’s Office role with subsequent experience in a high-growth operating business.
- Prior experience working directly with founders or senior leadership on strategic initiatives, business execution and cross-functional problem-solving.
- Experience at fast-paced, operationally intensive companies such as Zepto, Blinkit, Zomato, Swiggy, Uber, Porter, Rapido, Shadowfax, Delhivery or similar businesses.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with operational KPIs, financial metrics and unit economics.
- Ability to thrive in high-stakes environments where decisions have immediate business consequences and execution cannot wait for perfect information.
- Exceptional ownership, sound judgment and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to influence teams without relying solely on formal authority.
