Role Description The Forex Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. This role involves handling day-to-day foreign exchange operations, including processing currency transactions, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance guidelines, and maintaining accurate transaction records.

The Forex

Officer will monitor exchange rates, assist customers with forex-related products and services, and provide clear, professional guidance on remittances and foreign currency requirements.



The role includes preparing and reviewing basic financial and transaction reports, coordinating with internal teams for smooth branch operations, and supporting audits and documentation.

Officer is expected to uphold service quality standards, manage risk within defined limits, and contribute to process improvements in the forex function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge with the ability to understand and work with Financial Statements and basic Financial Reporting.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret transaction data, assess risks, and ensure accurate and compliant forex operations.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and familiarity with banking or financial services operations; prior experience in forex or remittance services is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; knowledge of RBI and regulatory guidelines applicable to foreign exchange will be beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, maintain high ethical standards, and use basic digital tools and banking software effectively.
