Title: Field Quality Engineer (Wiring Harness)

We are looking for a skilled Field Failure Engineer with expertise in Wiring Harness and Vehicle Electrical Systems to investigate field failures, identify root causes, and drive effective corrective actions. The role involves close coordination with customers, manufacturing, quality, design, and supplier teams to ensure timely resolution of field concerns.

Key Responsibilities

- Investigate field failures and customer complaints related to wiring harnesses and vehicle electrical systems.
- Perform root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other problem-solving methodologies.
- Analyze issues related to connectors, terminals, harness routing, continuity, shorts, open circuits,



and electrical components.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of failures.
- Support warranty claim analysis and field issue resolution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Customer Quality.
- Conduct vehicle-level troubleshooting and validation activities.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal and customer teams.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure closure of field concerns.
