Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Export Logistics Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the export process for our company's products, ensuring productive and timely delivery of goods to international markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of export regulations and documentation, and will be able to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and cost-effective transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage the export of products to international markets, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to secure cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions
- Manage all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely shipment of goods
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, and address any issues or delays as they arise
- Maintain and update export and shipping records, and prepare reports on export activities and performance
- Stay current on export regulations, trade agreements, and international shipping trends

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in export logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade
- Strong understanding of export regulations, documentation requirements, and international shipping practices




- Proficient in using transportation management systems and export documentation software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Custom House Agents (CHAs), managing post-shipment documentation, working on ERP platforms, and handling all import shipments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordination with Custom House Agents (CHAs):
- Liaise with CHAs to ensure timely clearance of export and import shipments.
- Provide necessary documentation and information to CHAs for customs clearance.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance in a timely manner.

- Handling Post-Shipment Documentation:

- Prepare and manage all post-shipment documents including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all documents with international shipping regulations.
- Maintain records of all export and import documentation for audit and compliance purposes.





- ERP Platform Management:

- Utilize the company's ERP system to manage logistics and commercial operations.
- Ensure accurate data entry and update of shipment information in the ERP system.
- Generate reports and analyze data from the ERP system to improve operational efficiency.

- Logistics Management for Export and Import Shipments:

- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to arrange transportation of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers and receipt of import goods.
- Handle any logistics issues that may arise during transit for both export and import shipments.

- Commercial Operations:

- Manage export and import orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring all commercial terms are met.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding order status, shipment schedules, and any issues.
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to provide accurate shipping information and resolve customer and supplier queries.

- Compliance and Regulations:

- Stay updated on international trade regulations and ensure compliance with all export and import requirements.
- Ensure all logistics activities adhere to company policies and legal guidelines.
- Conduct regular reviews of export and import processes to identify and implement improvements.

- Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare regular reports on shipment status, logistics performance, and compliance.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all logistics activities.
- Provide support in audits and inspections as required.
