Aryan is building capability for a modular Electric Vehicle Platform. The objective is to develop a scalable architecture that can support future vehicle programs across different configurations and duty cycles, with ownership of the core vehicle-level engineering and integration.

Role Description

Own complete electric vehicle system architecture and platform definition.

Define voltage class, power and energy requirements, vehicle-level electrical architecture and safety concept.

Lead selection, sizing and integration of battery packs, BMS, traction motors, inverters, VCU, DC-DC converters, onboard charging and high-voltage distribution.

Lead CAN / J1939 communication architecture, diagnostics, controls and vehicle software integration.

Define regenerative braking strategy and integration with chassis braking systems.

Own battery, motor, inverter and overall vehicle thermal-management strategy.

Lead integration with chassis, axles, steering, braking and other vehicle subsystems.

Establish functional safety, electrical safety, EMC/EMI, diagnostics and validation requirements.

Lead prototype build, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, design iterations and production release.





Drive homologation and regulatory compliance with relevant Indian and export-market standards.

Develop and manage the technical supplier ecosystem for key EV components and systems.

Build, mentor and lead a multidisciplinary EV engineering team.

Establish DFMEA, DVP&R;, design reviews, engineering change control, documentation and release processes.

Drive cost, weight, efficiency, reliability, serviceability and localisation targets.

Experience

Approximately 12-20 years of overall automotive engineering experience.

Preferably 5-8+ years of direct electric-vehicle development experience.

Robust preference for commercial vehicles, electric buses, electric trucks, off-highway vehicles or scalable EV platforms.

Demonstrated involvement in a program from concept / architecture through prototype, validation, homologation and production.

Technical Competencies

High-voltage EV architecture, ideally including 400-800 V systems.

Battery pack engineering, BMS, traction motors, inverters and power electronics.

VCU, CAN, J1939, diagnostics and controls integration.

Charging architecture, DC-DC conversion and HV/LV power distribution.

Thermal management, energy management, functional safety and EMC/EMI.

Vehicle integration, validation, homologation and productionisation.

Leadership Expectations

Act as the technical owner of the EV platform rather than only a component specialist.

Build and lead Aryan's EV engineering/R&D; team and coordinate mechanical, electrical, electronics, software,testing, sourcing and manufacturing.

Evaluate technology partners and suppliers and make sound make-vs-buy decisions.
