Role Overview :

We're looking for an experienced ERPNext/Frappe Developer to own the development, customization, and maintenance of our ERP system across manufacturing, inventory, procurement, sales, and accounting.

You'll work closely with operations, finance, and business teams to understand their workflows. You'll turn those workflows into custom modules, automated processes, and ERP solutions that scale.

Core Responsibilities:

Custom Development

- Design and build custom DocTypes, including child tables, linked DocTypes, and virtual DocTypes, using Python and the Frappe ORM.
- Write server-side Python scripts and hooks for business logic, validations, and workflow automation.
- Build client-side JavaScript for form events, custom buttons, and interactive interfaces.
- Automate approvals, validations, and notifications using server and client scripts.

Reports, Dashboards & Print Formats

- Develop query reports, script reports, and filter-driven dashboards for real-time analytics.
- Write optimized SQL for reports and database operations.
- Design print formats with Jinja2, HTML, and CSS for invoices, purchase orders, and compliance documents.

Integrations & APIs

- Build custom REST APIs to connect ERPNext with third-party systems and payment gateways.
- Integrate external services using REST and webhooks, handling authentication securely.
- Develop background jobs and scheduled tasks for asynchronous and batch processing.

ERPNext Module Configuration

- Configure and extend ERPNext modules: Manufacturing (BOM, Work Orders), Stock, Buying,



Selling, Accounting, HR, and CRM.

Deployment and Infrastructure

- Manage Frappe Bench installations, multi-tenant setups, version upgrades, and production deployments.
- Configure and maintain Nginx, Redis, and Supervisor for production environments.

Required Skills & Background:

Must Have :

- 2+ years of hands-on ERPNext/Frappe development experience.
- A solid grasp of Frappe architecture: its MVC pattern, ORM, and document lifecycle.
- Strong experience with custom DocTypes, server and client scripts, hooks, and workflows.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Frappe UI.
- Experience building REST APIs and integrating third-party systems.
- Proficiency in MariaDB/MySQL, including query writing and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Bench CLI, version migrations, and production deployments.
- Familiarity with Redis, Supervisor, and Nginx in production.
- Comfort with Linux (Ubuntu) administration and shell scripting.
- Version control with Git and GitHub.
- A functional understanding of the Sales, Buying, Stock, Manufacturing, Accounting, and HR modules.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Robust Python fundamentals, including OOP, decorators, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience with RQ (Redis Queue) background jobs and scheduled tasks.
- Experience with virtual DocTypes and cross-module reporting logic.
- Custom tax logic, payment automation, or other financial customizations.
- Docker and Docker Compose for containerized deployments.
- CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Data migration, ETL, and legacy system integration.
- Integrations with payment gateways, logistics providers, or warehousing systems.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Frappe/ERPNext certification or open-source contributions.
