Client: US-based Asset Manager The analyst will support fundamental equity research across the global Technology / Electrical equipment / Semiconductor sectors (esp. Southeast Asia). The role requires solid financial and industry analysis capabilities, with particular emphasis on understanding company-specific operational drivers and their detailed workings

Key responsibilities

- Conduct fundamental research including operational/financial-model, industry and competitive analysis
- Develop and maintain detailed operational, financial and valuation models
- In-depth assessment of key operational drivers/KPIs such as product mix, pricing, volumes, utilization, capacity, yields, inventory, capital expenditure and customer concentration
- Track industry developments, company earnings, supply-chain trends and technology transitions
- Prepare investment research notes, earnings updates and company/sector views




- Engage with company management teams, industry experts and other relevant stakeholders, where required
- Support idea generation and provide actionable insights to investment teams

Candidate profile

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment research or financial analysis
- Prior exposure to the technology / Electrical equipment / Semiconductor sectors is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and financial modelling
- Ability to analyze operational drivers in detail and link them to financial performance and valuation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of AI models, AI infrastructure or related technology trends would be an advantage
