Role Description The Engineering Manager role at Anvento Labs is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mohali district.

The Engineering

Manag er will oversee software engineering teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure efficient delivery of high-quality solutions across projects. Daily responsibilities include planning and prioritizing work, coordinating with client teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring smooth integration of systems and applications. The role involves mentoring engineers, conducting performance reviews, promoting best practices in software development, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and continuous-improvement culture.

Manager will also participate in architectural discussions, risk assessment, and client communication to align technical execution with business goals.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated Engineering Management experience, including responsibility for technical direction and organizational processes.
- Strong Team Leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing diverse engineering teams.
- Hands-on Software Development expertise in up-to-date technologies and frameworks, with an ability to review and guide code and architecture.
- Proficient Project Management skills, including planning, estimation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience with Integration of systems, APIs, and cloud-based services to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions.
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to quality and security.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in client-facing roles within software services or IT consulting environments is an advantage.
