About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Energy Sector Consultant for a short-term consulting engagement through a leading global strategy consulting firm, supporting a prominent industry initiative in the energy sector.

This opportunity is suited to professionals with a background in MBB or Kearney consulting and relevant Oil & Gas (O&G;) or broader Energy, Natural Resources & Infrastructure (ENR) experience . The consultant will work closely with consulting and client stakeholders, industry leaders, industry associations, policymakers, and international participants to support the coordination and execution of an significant energy industry initiative.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of an energy industry initiative.
- Engage with senior industry representatives, industry bodies, policymakers, and other key stakeholders.
- Contribute industry knowledge and insights on Oil & Gas and broader energy-sector topics.
- Coordinate with consulting teams, client stakeholders, industry participants, and international counterparts.
- Support the preparation and coordination of industry-related content, discussions, and stakeholder engagements.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions with mid-to-senior-level stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder communication and project coordination activities while ensuring timely execution of deliverables.





Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of full-time consulting experience with MBB firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or Kearney.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant Oil & Gas (O&G;) or broader Energy (ENR) experience.
- Ability to operate independently at the Consultant level and interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Based in Delhi NCR and available to work on-site in New Delhi.
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately 2–3 times per month .
- Comfortable working five days per week, including at least one Saturday per month, with advance notice.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.

Preferred Background
- Approximately 5–7 years of overall professional experience; candidates with fewer years may be considered if their consulting and energy-sector experience is highly relevant.
- A combination of strategy consulting and industry experience.
- Experience engaging with industry associations, policymakers, senior executives, or international stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; Bengali would be an advantage.
