Job Summary

As discussed, we are looking for a skilled ELV BIM Modeller with hands-on experience in creating and coordinating 3D BIM models for Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination, along with experience modelling ELV systems for commercial, residential, and other building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for ELV systems using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Prepare detailed ELV layouts, shop drawings, sections, and installation drawings.
- Model ELV systems, including:
- CCTV and video surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Structured cabling and data networks
- Public Address and Voice Alarm (PA/VA) systems
- Telephone and intercom systems
- Audio-visual systems
- SMATV/IPTV systems
- Intrusion detection systems
- Nurse call systems, where applicable
- Model cable trays, conduits, containment routes, equipment, and related components.
- Coordinate ELV models with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and architectural models.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues with relevant disciplines.
- Prepare BIM views, sections, schedules, and construction documentation.
- Follow project BIM standards, modelling guidelines, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
- Incorporate design changes and comments from engineers, consultants,



and clients.
- Support BIM Coordinators and Design Engineers in project delivery and quality checks.

Required Skills
- Robust hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in 3D modelling of ELV systems and cable containment.
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, PA/VA, and other ELV systems.
- Understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination is preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in ELV BIM modelling or MEP BIM modelling.
- Experience working on commercial buildings, residential projects, hospitals, hotels, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience in engineering consultancy or MEP design companies is preferred.
- Familiarity with international project standards and BIM execution requirements is an advantage.
