Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electromechanical Device Development Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in electromechanical product development, design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and improving devices that integrate mechanical and electrical/electronic components, ensuring product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and compliance with applicable quality standards.

Experience in medical device development or other regulated product manufacturing environments will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop electromechanical devices, assemblies, and components.
- Work on mechanical design, electrical/electronic integration, and prototype development.
- Prepare 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Select suitable materials, components, actuators, sensors, motors, connectors, and other hardware as required.
- Build prototypes and conduct functional testing, verification, and validation activities.
- Identify design issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D;, NPD, Quality, Production, and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product development and transfer to production.
- Support pilot production, assembly process development, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain design records, test reports, engineering change records, and product development documentation.




- Ensure designs meet applicable product specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and continuous product improvement activities.

Required Qualifications
- M.Tech / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electromechanical product development and manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in product design, prototype development, testing, and manufacturing support.
- Knowledge of mechanical components, electrical/electronic interfaces, and electromechanical assemblies.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and test results.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device development or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 quality management systems and design controls.
- Familiarity with design verification and validation, risk management, and product lifecycle documentation.
- Experience with product assembly, pilot builds, process validation, and production transfer.
- Basic understanding of embedded systems, sensors, actuators, and control systems, where applicable.
