Company Brief & Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic Junior Electrical Layout Engineer (BIM) to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and detailing 3D electrical models, cable containment/tray routings, and equipment layouts for complex industrial and baggage handling infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling & Design: Create accurate 3D electrical models in Autodesk Revit MEP (LOD 200 to LOD 500) including cable trays, cable ladders, conduits, DBs, panels, switchgear, and field equipment.
- Containment Routing: Model and optimize 3D cable containment, trunking, raceways, and cable schedules for industrial layouts, airports, or data centers.
- Coordination & Clash Resolution: Run multidisciplinary clash detection in Navisworks Manage / Revit, identifying and resolving interferences between electrical services, HVAC, structural, and architectural elements.
- Documentation & Output: Generate high-quality coordinated shop drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs),
layout sheets, bill of quantities (BOQ), and as-built documentation.
- Standards Compliance: Work in accordance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 workflows, and relevant international electrical standards (EN / IEC / IS).
Required Candidate Profile:
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or related fields: Electronics / ENTC / Instrumentation).
- Experience: 1 to 3 Years of active design/modeling experience in a BIM engineering firm or design consultancy.
- Software Proficiency:
- Mandatory: Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage.
- Added Advantage: Dynamo for Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Caneco, Dialux.
- Key Technical Skills: 3D Cable Containment Routing, Cable Tray Sizing, Panel Layouts, LOD 350 Shop Drawings, Clash Resolution, As-Built Documentation.
- Location: Pune (or willing to relocate immediately).
