Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our Machine Building & Automation Department.

The candidate will assist in preparing electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, control-panel layouts and technical documentation for custom-built industrial machinery and automation systems.

ITI-qualified candidates and freshers are encouraged to apply. Training and guidance will be provided to develop practical skills in industrial electrical drafting and machine automation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control-panel layouts for industrial machinery.
2. Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
3. Support the preparation of electrical Bills of Materials (BOM), cable schedules and component lists.
4. Assist in drafting PLC I/O diagrams, terminal connection drawings and panel wiring diagrams.
5. Coordinate with electrical engineers, automation engineers and machine assembly teams.
6. Update electrical drawings based on engineering feedback and modifications.
7. Maintain proper drawing documentation, revisions and technical records.
8. Support electrical panel assembly and machine wiring teams in understanding drawings.
9. Learn and follow electrical drafting standards, machine safety requirements and internal engineering procedures.
10. Assist in preparing final as-built electrical drawings and machine documentation.

Educational Qualifications




- ITI in Draughtsman (Electrical), Electrician or a related technical trade.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering will also be considered.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams and electrical components.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical components such as motors, contactors, relays, switches and sensors.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer proficiency and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

- Exposure to AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Basic understanding of PLCs, HMIs and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of electrical control panels and industrial machine wiring.
- Previous internship, apprenticeship or training in machine manufacturing, panel building or industrial automation.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a motivated ITI-qualified candidate with a solid interest in electrical drafting and industrial machine building.

The candidate should be willing to learn electrical design practices, work closely with experienced engineers and develop expertise in control-panel design, machine wiring diagrams and automation systems.

Freshers with basic AutoCAD knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
