Key Responsibilities

- Pre-Alert Document Verification: Review pre-alert documents received from overseas agents, vendors, or customers to identify applicable customs clearance requirements, missing documents, and regulatory compliances.

- Coordination with Customer Service (CS): Coordinate with the CS team to understand shipment-specific requirements and ensure all necessary documents and information are collected before filing the Bill of Entry.

- Checklist Preparation: Prepare and share shipment-wise documentation and compliance checklists with the CS team to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance.

- HSN Code Knowledge: Maintain a good understanding of HSN codes, customs tariff classification, applicable customs duty, and relevant notifications.

- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of applicable Customs Act provisions, customs notifications, and allied regulatory requirements, including:

- BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards)

- ADC (Assistant Drug Controller), wherever applicable

- ERP (Extended Producer Responsibility), wherever applicable





- Other applicable regulatory approvals, NOCs, and import restrictions.

- Document Scrutiny: Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/airway bills, certificates of origin, and other shipment-related documents for accuracy and completeness.

- Compliance Identification: Identify applicable licenses, certificates, permits, product-specific approvals, and other regulatory requirements based on the nature of goods being imported.

- Internal Coordination: Liaise with CS, documentation, and customs clearance teams to resolve document discrepancies and avoid delays in shipment clearance.

- Pre-Clearance Support: Ensure shipment documents and compliance requirements are checked in advance to facilitate smooth and timely customs clearanc

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
